Are you organized, friendly, and detail-obsessed? ATC Rug Washing & Specialty Cleaning Services is looking for a full-time Customer Service Associate who can juggle calls, calendars, and customers with ease, while helping us deliver top-notch service to homeowners throughout Long Island. 

Founded in 1978, ATC Rug Washing & Specialty Cleaning Services is a third-generation, family-owned business based in Farmingdale, NY. We specialize in professional rug washing and in-home specialty cleaning services, from carpet and upholstery to tile, wood floors, and beyond. We've grown rapidly in the last few years by delivering a level of care, quality, and attention that stands out, and our customers keep coming back for more.

This role is the perfect mix: about 65% customer service and 35% administrative support. If you love helping people, enjoy a structured environment, and want to grow with a family-run business that's expanding fast, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities:

• Answer and return calls and emails with professionalism and a smile
• Schedule rug pick-ups, drop-offs, and cleaning services
• Follow up with leads from social media forms and online inquiries
• Clearly explain our services and pricing to customers
• Recommend additional treatments to improve customer results and earn commissions
• Enter accurate information into our CRM (HubSpot or similar)
• Assist with scheduling, follow-ups, and office organization
• Track customer interactions and next steps
• Collaborate with our team and participate in ongoing training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (college a plus)
• Customer service or sales experience preferred
• CRM experience (e.g., HubSpot) is a bonus
• Excellent communication skills, friendly, clear, and confident
• Highly organized, able to multitask in a busy environment
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Professional phone demeanor and computer literacy
• Self-starter who works well independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and have a clean driver's license (to be covered under company insurance)
• Fluency in English required (bilingual in Spanish a plus)

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time preferred; part-time options available (25 to 40 hours/week)
• Competitive hourly pay at $19 to $21 per hour, based on experience
